The Long-Term Cognitive Disorder Service is an interdisciplinary team that aims to provide specialized and expert healthcare to both dementia patients and, especially, their families, referrals and caregivers who are often overwhelmed.
We also support patients who require a long stay in healthcare, according to the goals and reasons for admission established by the Catalan Health Service.
We are involved not only in the diagnosis, treatment and health education of patients and carers in the early stages, but also in the care of behavior disorders in all phases and in diseases that may be a consequence of the advanced stages of the disease.
Depending on your needs, we can assist you in a hospital unit or outpatient care.
