Presentation

Chronic kidney disease represents a significant change in the life of both the patient and the family / primary caregivers, with doubts about the care needed to cope with the disease in the best possible way and to achieve an acceptable quality of life. they can learn to live with her.

With the design of this guide, we want to provide all the information and consultation tools needed to increase security, promote the independence of the patient and the family / main caregivers, strengthen knowledge and minimize the complications arising from both your illness as of the renal replacement treatment to which you are attached: hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis or kidney transplant, but without trying to replace one of the most important functions of our profession such as direct patient education.

We have tried to come up with a guide that is easily understandable, illustrative and accessible to everyone 24 hours a day, and accessible so that anyone, regardless of their abilities (blind or severe vision impaired, myopic, with motor disabilities, among others), you can access all the content. Soon we will also integrate a query box so that answers to possible doubts can be shared by everyone who accesses the web.
