The Children and Youth Mental Health Service offers specialized care to children and young people under the age of 18 who have mental health problems and to their families, with a community and integrative orientation, with the interventions of other community health and social services.
Caring for young people always involves parental care; That is why we have family-specific and individualized care programs for different mental disorders.
Early detection of mental disorders in young people is an essential strategy to avoid the negative consequences of delayed initiation of effective treatment: disruption of the brain maturation process and serious interferences with normal development (school failure, relational deficits, ... ).
