The Parc Taulí Valorisation and Innovation Unit has managed a total of 2010 ideas in 227, 19 of which were generated in 2010 and 2 patents have been applied for. External requests have been received from hospitals for advice on recovery issues, such as the Mútua de Terrassa, Bada-lona Serveis Assistencials and the Hospital de Mataró.

There are 9 inventions in the technology transfer phase. Visits from companies from different sectors with an interest in collaborating in healthcare innovation projects continue to be received, and the spin-of Better Care has been set up.

During 2010 the radius of all training and information days has increased, so that the number of attendees has almost doubled. As a result of the experience of previous years, a strategic training plan in innovation has been developed, which includes training in skills identified as necessary for the innovation process. This plan will make it possible to make a record of each scheduled activity and build a map of the skills worked on during the year, which will be one of the indicators for drawing up next year's training plan.

A total of 493 participants attended, of which 436 were from the CSPT. There have been 3 information sessions, and 15 training sessions, 8 of which correspond to landing sessions of ideas from the creativity workshops.

New technologies applied to surgery. New medical devices:

> Computer aided and robotic surgery applications.

> New support equipment for the surgeon and the medical team in the operating room.

> Treatment of malformations.

Projects in other areas:

> Cognitive neurostimulation in patients in the area of ​​mental health, schizophrenics and / or schizoaffective disorder and post-ICU patients.

> Management in the area of ​​nephrology.

Participation

The Fundació Parc Taulí joins the 14th edition of the ITEMAS Network (Innovation Network in Medical and Health Technologies) promoted by the Carlos III Health Institute. Within the objectives of UVIPT is the promotion and encouragement of innovation, for this reason it also participates in different initiatives:> Red ITEMAS.

> Hospital Innovation Network / Hospital Union in Innovation: promoted by the Fundació Parc Taulí and the Parc de Salut Foundation.

> Members of the Network of Clinical, Hospital and Biosanitary Research Management Entities (REGIC), Association of European Science & Technology Transfer Professionals (ASTP) and Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM).

> We support the health and food cluster of the Ripoll basin (Innovation Plan in the Ripoll Basin).

Collaboration with companies

The CSPT has the collaboration of different companies in the medical device industry, research centers, technology centers and national and international universities.
