Organizational structure
The Parc Taulí Health Corporation is made up of seven centers, five
of them with centralized management within the Corporation: Hospital de Sabadell, Albada
Sociosanitary Center, Parc Taulí Mental Health, Parc Taulí Primary Care and
Dependency Care; and two others with their own legal personality: UDIAT
Center Diagnòstic SA and Sabadell Gent Gran SA, of which the Corporation itself
is the sole partner.
La
(FPT) supports all activities of
research, innovation and teaching of the Corporation and promotes development
of knowledge within the framework of the Professional Council.
The Fundació Parc Taulí is a university institute attached to the University
Autonomous of Barcelona since 1999.
Governance bodies
The Parc Taulí Health Corporation is a public consortium of the
Generalitat de Catalunya, which is the highest governing body of the Consell de
Government, and which manages the following centers: L'Hospital de Sabadell, L'Albada
Socio-sanitary center, Parc Taulí Mental Health, Parc Taulí Primary Care,
Attention to the Parc Taulí Unit, as well as the services of UDIAT Center
Diagnosis and Sabadell Senior Citizens Services Center, through companies
anonymous. The Corporation is the sole partner of these last two entities and
appoints all members of its boards of directors. In addition, the
Corporation is the teaching unit of the
(UAB), and is considered a University Hospital.
