The Network of Research Results Transfer Offices of the
Spanish Universities
constituted March 17, 1997 and has
as a mission to strengthen and disseminate the role of universities as elements
keys within the national innovation system.
The Network of Innovation in Medical and Health Technologies
and
one of the Thematic Networks for Cooperative Health Research
promoted by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) as a component of the
integrative vision of innovation in its environment. The ITEMAS network aims
fostering innovation in healthcare technology as a key tool for doing more
sustainable the National Health System, supporting the development of
the innovative culture needed to facilitate the integration of the scientific
industry in the field of medical technology.
is an association that includes most of the managing entities of
Spanish R & D & I healthcare. Among its goals are creation
of an environment of collaboration between the associated entities for the promotion and the
development of activities of management, valorisation and transfer of the
knowledge in the productive sector and to function as a forum for coordination,
exchange of information and integration of the policies and interests of the entities
