Stays abroad
The Institutional Committee for Research and Innovation began in 2008 the
scholarships for stays abroad, with the aim of facilitating the stay of
professionals of the institution with a recognized interest in research, innovation
and institutional commitment.
These stays are intended to deepen the knowledge and
contribute to the improvement of the health of the reference population as well as the improvement
of the care processes and to the increase of the level of R + D + i of the group to which
belongs to the researcher; and to favor the establishment of relations with centers
foreigners of high scientific and innovative level for the benefit of the Corporation and its
professionals.
The call remains open all year round and has a maximum annual endowment of
30.000 euros.
In 2012, one of these scholarships was awarded to Dra. Fátima López
Fernández from the Parc Taulí Innovation Unit on the occasion of his stay
at Cedars Sinai Medical Center Hospital in Los Angeles (USA) to search
opportunities for collaboration with Cedars Sinai and being able to transfer products
of the American market.
Another concession has been for Dra. Núria Espluga i Frigola, doctor
attached to the Parc Taulí Mental Health Center, on the occasion of his stay in
the Institute of Pyshicatry of King's College London.
