The FPT has always taken pains to
ensure clear and transparent management to provide its users and
collaborators with security and confidence. For this reason, each
project is managed individually and accounts are audited annually
and the corresponding report is deposited with the Protectorat de
Fundacions of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
Budget managed
The growing volume of income
corresponds to constant increases in activities and projects, both
in number and in importance. The budget approved for 2005 shows a
sharp increase due to the initiation of the Parc de Salut project.

The budget managed in 2004 was
1,957,602.86€, and an increase of 26% is foreseen for 2005.
Research activities account for 80% of the budget.

Financing for the FPT’s
activities comes from private resources (64%), public funds (33%),
and its own resources (4%).
The main sources of resources to finance the
FPT’s budget are public competitions for research grants and
private financing from agreements with businesses, sales of
services, and donations.
