The creation of central services
became a priority, absolutely necessary to guarantee fast,
reliable diagnosis.
The inauguration of the Unitat de
Diagnòstic per la Imatge d'Alta Tecnologia, (UDIAT Diagnostic
Center) in 1992 marked an important technological advance.
In May of 1993 the Fundació
Parc Taulí was created to encourage the development of
professional knowledge and give support to all teaching
activities and research projects.
