On the 7th of January 1998 the decree of the Health Department and Social Security to modify the Statutes of the  Consorci Hospitalari was approved, and the Consorci became known as the Corporació Sanitària Parc Taulí de Sabadell.

During 1998, once the first phase of the Projecte d’Ordenació was finished, the  consolidation of a model of governability of the group of institutions in the Parc Taulí took place, allowing an efficient, quality response to the healthcare needs of the people while guaranteeing the viability and sustainability of the  institution.

On  29-12-98 the Societat Anònima Sabadell Gent Gran, Centre de Serveis was constituted and on 11-2-99 the Societat Anònima UDIAT Centre Diagnòstic. Both institutions are non-profit, with the Corporació Parc Taulí as the single partner
