SELECTED
The project, which has received numerous awards and grants, has developed an innovative system of protection of subcutaneous venous reservoirs (SVR) for children and young people.

LuCaDAlert
LuCaDAlert is a new imaging diagnostic software to detect lung cancer in unreported chest radiographs based on deep learning algorithms. This system will contribute to improving the prognosis of the disease by favoring its detection.

EPPICS is an innovative digital tool that improves patient recovery and comfort during the ICU stay. It has several exercises for the prevention of functional alterations at a cognitive and emotional level, and is integrated into a communicator for those patients who can communicate.

ITEMS
The director of the I3PT, Lluís Blanch, has been appointed coordinator of the Platform for Dynamization and Innovation of the Industrial Capacities of the National Health System and its effective transfer to the productive sector (ITEMAS), from January 2021 to December 2023.
ITEMAS is one of the platforms of the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII) that supports R+D+i in Biomedicine and Health Sciences. This innovative hub is made up of 18 reference hospitals in the State.
Node Taulí ITEMS
El Node Taulí is one of the 16 health organizations and research institutes funded by the ISCIII within the framework of the PT20 Platform. Each node, which groups a set of attached centers, aims to offer innovation services and project presentation support to the Platform.
The node has 6 attached centers:
During 2021, the I3PT has launched the first call for the Node Taulí Incubation Program aimed at affiliated centres, with the aim of promoting innovative culture, improving the efficiency of the innovation process and increasing the impact of participating projects, among others.
