Thrombosis is the formation of a blood clot inside a blood vessel that hinders the normal flow of blood. Every year, 1 in 4 people worldwide die from conditions caused by thrombosis such as stroke, heart attack or pulmonary embolism.

In this multidisciplinary event, which is celebrating its second edition this year, different aspects of thrombosis will be addressed, such as prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
