Closing ceremony GENES_IT

Learn about the innovation of the units associated with ITEMAS at the GENES_IT Demo Day!

This program encourages the identification of unmet needs and the generation of ideas using the methodology Stanford BIODESIGN, which seeks to transform ideas in a state of initial maturity into innovative projects. For almost 3 months, teams from different units associated with ITEMAS, the dynamization and innovation platform of the Carlos III Health Institute, have followed all the phases of the process, from the identification of the need to the selection of possible solutions, and will now present their trajectory at the closing ceremony.

Program

• 11:00 h – Institutional welcome
  Dr. Salvador Ventura, director of the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT)
  Dr. Lluís Blanch, coordinator of the ITEMAS Platform - ISCIII
• 11:30 a.m. – Presentation of the Innovation Unit
  Mr. Martín León, head of the Innovation Unit of the I3PT
  Program methodology and presentation of the participating teams
• 11:50 a.m. – Presentation of ideas from the GENES_IT teams
  Each team will have five minutes to share their journey in the program.
• 12:50 pm – Round table: “Dare to move forward: experiences of projects in healthcare innovation”
  Moderator: Mr. Martín León Hermoso, head of the Innovation Unit of the I3PT
• 13:35 p.m. – End of the event
• 13:40 p.m. – Snacks and space for networking
