The research group Cognitive-behavioral disorders: Fragile X Syndrome (SFX) of the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute and the Parc Taulí Pediatric Service organizes the III Update Day in SFX for professionals and families.
The conference is aimed at healthcare staff and researchers, families and patients with FMR1 gene alteration that includes manifestations related to Fragile X Syndrome, the premutation state associated with neurodevelopmental disorders, and other conditions associated with premutation, such as FXTAS, premature ovarian failure (FXPOI), or other neuropsychiatric disorders (FXAND).
The objective of the day is to update the management of the patient with SXF and the patient with premutation in FMR1.
The specific objectives are:
- Transmit a summary of the developments at the 18th SXF International Congress (July 2022)
- To share the clinical findings in patients with premutation in FMR1 in pediatric age
- Describe a comprehensive approach to the patient with SXF, from childhood to adulthood
- Promote research in SXF integrated into routine clinical practice
The day will be held in a hybrid format: 50 places in person and simultaneously through the ZOOM platform.
