Planetary health: challenges and opportunities

Did you know that the climate crisis is the biggest global health threat of the XNUMXst century? Human health and the health of the planet are intimately interconnected and cannot be conceived of separately. Decarbonizing and transforming health systems must be a priority in order to ensure a sustainable and resilient public health system, and avoid potential future disruptions.

Next Wednesday, March 15, the third Cycle of Scientific Conferences of the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute begins with the session by Carla Oliva Morell, who will explain the importance of planetary health, what role innovation can play in this context, and the new climate action and planetary health project of the Official College of Doctors of Barcelona.
