XIII Congress of the Catalan-Balearic Palliative Care Society

The world of health is dynamic per se, but nowadays this dynamism has intensified because people's needs, the way to attend to them, the planning and distribution of resources is also changing.

In this situation, it is appropriate for the world of palliative care to reflect on how to approach these new times, from a critical point of view, without forgetting the values ​​that make up what "we are and will be".

To emphasize this orientation, the congress of the Catalan-Balearic Society of Palliative Care is being held in Sabadell, on February 21 and 22, 2025. An innovative congress both from the point of view of content, and the presentation of 'these.

We want a congress that takes risks in approaches, positions, implications, resolutions and conclusions. We want you to answer a series of questions, such as:

• Is palliative care a lever for change?
• What is the dimension of palliative care today?
• Do we have the capacity to innovate?
• Are we recognized academically?
• Are we attractive to future generations?

These and other questions have moved the scientific committee to define a program consistent with the motto of the congress: "Let's draw our future from a transformative perspective". And in the same sense, the organizing committee has set out to get the city of Sabadell to experience palliative care for two days, either by sharing activities or by hosting congress participants.
