The Council of the Government of Parc Taulí has approved the appointment of Gemma Craywinckel i Martí as the new general director of Parc Taulí, she is scheduled to join Parc Taulí on March 1st.
Gemma Craywinckel holds a PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona (UAB) and is a specialist in General and Digestive Surgery. An expert in healthcare management, she holds a diploma in Hospital Management from ESADE and a Master's degree in Healthcare Institution Management from the UAB, of which she is director, and an associate professor at the UAB.
With an extensive career in healthcare management, she has been manager of the Pere Virgili Health Park and the Santa Creu i Sant Pau Hospital. She has also been director of the Catalan Health Service, being the first woman to hold the position.
