The Emergency Service of the Hospital de Sabadell already has in full operation the different spaces that have been remodeled over the last few weeks, with the aim of improving the comfort of patients and relatives and within the framework of the actions of continuous improvement of this Service. The spaces that have undergone the biggest change are the Patient Waiting Room and the Level 1 Medical Area Armchairs. A new multifunctional box for hectic patient care has also been released and psychiatric isolates of patients with contagious diseases.

Specifically, the new waiting room for patients has doubled its space with the previous one, it has natural light and a new bathroom, among other improvements. One of the spaces that has improved the comfort of the patients most significantly is the armchair in the medical area of level 1 (where the less complex pathologies are treated). In this space, the previous arrangement of armchairs side by side has been changed to individual boxes, so that the patients located on this device now have privacy that they did not have until now.
