The professionals of the Genetic Research Group of the Parc Taulí obtained a collection of 2.000 euros in the solidarity market that took place on Saturday 22 November. This collection will be used to guarantee the continuity of the research project they have been carrying out since 2009: “Study of intellectual disability and psychiatric disorders in an adult population”.

Throughout the day on Saturday, the organizers were in the Plaza del Dr. Robert de Sabadell to sell all kinds of objects donated by professionals from Parc Taulí and other entities. You could buy clothes, furniture, second-hand books and paintings, among others. Despite the numerous sales, there is still material and it is not ruled out to organize a new edition of the market, as the amount needed to complete the research project is 30.000 euros.

In last year's edition of the solidarity market, 3.500 euros were raised.
