The Academy of Medical and Health Sciences awards four prizes to professionals from Parc Taulí

The Academy of Medical Sciences and Health delivered yesterday the 2019-2020 awards ceremony held in virtual format and presented by the actor Queco Novell. Four professionals from Parc Taulí were awarded in this edition.

The awarded professionals are:

• Merit Partner Award aand Dra. Montserrat Gil, which means the recognition of the Taulí of Governors of the Academy for the merits in the academic career of a member of the entity.
• Basic Research Fellowship of the Academy 2020 for the project “Effect of cell therapies combined with antithrombin for the treatment of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome in an In Vitro model”. Principal Investigator: Dr. Anthony Artigas. As members of the research team: Marta Camprubí Rimblas, Areny Balagueró, Luis Morales Quinteros.
• Scholarship from the Academy for training stays abroad for young professionals in Health Sciences al Dr. Just Emilio Pinzón Espinosa for his stay in the Department of Psychiatry & Department of PsychiatricGenetics, Neurogenetics, Rudolf Magnus Brain Center, University Medical Center Utrecht, Utrecht.l. The scholarship was awarded by Diego J. Palao as Second Vice President of the Academy.
• Academy Fellowship for a Clinical Research Project in the project: Radiomics in Lung Cancer Screening - RADIOLUNG (Radiomics in Lung Cancer Screening). As Principal Investigator: Antoni Rosell Gratacós .. The Dr. Eduard Monsó is part of the investigated teamr. The award was presented by Dr. Salvador Navarro, Secretary General of the Academy.
