In addition, the I3PT, as a participating node of the platform, will offer its services to professionals from other hospitals in Catalonia such as the Consorci Sanitari Integral, the Consorci Sanitari Terrassa, the Fundació Privada Hospital Asil de Granollers, the Consorci Alt Penedès-Garraf Health Center and the Terrassa Mutual Society. These hospitals are part of the XISCAT network (Catalan Innovation Network born from the need and interest of sharing good practices and experiences in the management of innovation) and are located outside the metropolitan area of Barcelona, an area where most of Catalonia's industrial fabric is concentrated and a large part of Catalan GDP is generated in health. From XISCAT many synergies have emerged between the different actors in the environment, facilitating multiple public-private collaborations that have turned Parc Taulí into a reference center in innovation.
