This morning, the Sabadell Manufacturers' Guild presented the 2020 Wool Flakes Recognitions. The Guild wanted to recognize the work of health personnel, essential services, volunteers, textile companies and the media who have helped to carry out the city during the coronavirus pandemic.
The awards ceremony was given by the president of the business association, Rosvi Moix, and the mayor of Sabadell, Marta Farrés. During the reading of the verdict of the recognition to the sanitary personnel, the general secretary of the Guild of Manufacturers, Núria Aymerich, stood out "Commitment, dedication and courage, and their unconditional dedication during the Covid-19 pandemic". On behalf of this group, the director of the CAP Center, Rosa Andreu, received the award; the nurse of the ICU of Parc Taulí, Lídia Martí; the maintenance technician of the Parc Taulí, Sebastià Garriga, and the medical transport technician of the FALCK-VL company, Edu Moreno.
From Parc Taulí we are grateful for this recognition, as well as the donation of 2.000 gowns that the Manufacturers' Guild sent us last April, in the midst of the first wave of pandemic.
