The show Matrona is a montage that combines the format of audiovisual documentary with dance and live music, which can be seen from 2 to 12 September at the Gaudí Theater, Barcelona. The protagonists of the play are the midwives of Parc Taulí de Sabadell, Gemma Cazorla and Olga Segarra.

The show reflects the way midwives work and their accompanying role during childbirth. It has been directed by Manel Borràs and produced by Guineu Films.

Synopsis

MATRONA combines the documentary with dance and live music, creating a magical moment where life is the protagonist. Matron talks about accompanying, uniting, loneliness and the reflection of life. Contemporary dance, flamenco dance and singing, modern singing, electronic and classical music are some of the elements that give shape to this new creation.
