Sabadell scientific coffees 2022
The Catalan Institute of Paleontology Miquel Crusafont (ICP), the Association for the Defense and Study of Nature (ADENC), the Sabadell Astronomical Association, the Bosch i Cardellach Foundation, the Parc Taulí Health Corporation, La Ruda friends of Can Deu for organic farming and the Unió Excursionista de Sabadell (UES) and the Academy of Medical Sciences start this February the tenth edition of the Scientific Cafés program in Sabadell.
The aim of the Scientific Cafés is to offer citizens the opportunity to speak in a relaxed atmosphere and to exchange opinions on scientific topics with a reference expert. The space chosen for this conversation between science and society has traditionally been the bar of the Unió Excursionista premises on Carrer de la Salut. This year, however, the dynamics will change so that we can adapt to the current situation and thus comply with the maximum security protocols. In this way, the idea is to offer a mixed format offering on the one hand a capacity of up to 50% to the coffee of the UES (depending on the restrictions depending on the evolution of the pandemic) and on the other a connection in streaming with the possibility of intervening through a chat enabled.
The sessions of the Scientific Cafés are held one Tuesday per month, at 7 p.m., at Bar of the Unió Excursionista de Sabadell (c / De la Salut 14-16 Sabadell). The talks are free.
This session will also be broadcast on streaming by the Y3PT Youtube channel, by the following link: https://youtu.be/3D8UhsFgUSE.
