The Taulí Auditorium hosted on June 8 nearly a hundred retired nursing professionals at the founding ceremony of the Parc Taulí Retired Nurses Association. This is the second association of its kind to be created in Catalonia. The event, chaired by the president of Parc Taulí, Mariona Creus i Virgili, was attended by the Councilor for Health of Sabadell City Council, Sonia Sada, the general director of Parc Taulí, Joan Martí, and the nurse director, Mireia Subirana.
The association was set up on the initiative of nursing professionals in order to promote the continuity of personal and professional relationships between retired nurses and Parc Taulí, maintain the friendship between them, support retired nurses in vulnerable situations and collaborate with Parc Taulí, the COIB and other health organizations.
The board of directors is made up of Magda Daví, as president, Mercè Ruiz, vice president, Núria Mañé, treasurer, Àngels Soler, secretary, and Encarna Ramos as member and head of communications.
Among the activities they propose to carry out are walking meetings, cultural outings, lunches and a reading club, among others.
The Association is available to anyone who wants to contact them by e-mail: jinfjub@gmail.com
