The transfer of the first patients who have opened the building to the new Ripoll building in Parc Taulí has begun on Tuesday 14 June, and they are already occupying the 1st floor. Patients have been relocated from the semi-critical and short-stay areas. This move will allow the remodeling of the first and fourth floors of the Taulí, which will be closed during the summer due to works to improve accessibility (bathtubs will be replaced by shower trays).
On Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 June it is planned to complete the transfer with the surgical patients, who will be transferred to the 2nd floor of Ripoll, and with the pediatric hospitalization patients, who will also open a new floor on the 3rd floor of Ripoll.
Recall that this building, which has 6.000 square meters and has been built in a record time of less than 9 months, was officially inaugurated on May 31 in an event chaired by President Pere Aragonès, the Minister of Health, Josep Ma. Argimon, and the mayor of Sabadell, Marta Farrés.
