Parc Taulí opens the new Child and Youth Psychiatry Hospitalization Unit

Last October 31st, the first patients of the new Child and Youth Psychiatry Hospitalization Unit of Parc Taulí were welcomed, who have opened the new spaces on the 3rd floor of the Taulí building. With this change, the Unit that until now was divided into two units – on the 2nd and 7th floors – is integrated into the Women's and Children's Care floor, in much friendlier and brighter spaces.

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Hospitalization Unit at Parc Taulí is the reference device for the entire Vallès Occidental. Last year, the professionals of this Unit treated around 200 patients, and with the expansion of the new devices, which now have 16 beds, it is expected to be able to serve up to 250 children and young people.
