The Otolaryngology Oncology coordinator, Yolanda Escamilla, receives the Extraordinary Doctoral Award for her thesis

Dr. Escamilla has recently collected the Extraordinary Doctorate Award for his thesis defended in the 2018-2019 academic year. The award ceremony, postponed due to the pandemic, took place at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) on November 18.

Dr. Escamilla has obtained this recognition for the thesis entitled "Comparación de two intravenous α2 agonists as anesthetic adjuvants in endoscopic nasosinusal surgery: randomized clinical trial of clonidine versus dexmedetomidine", which he carried out in the Department of Pharmacology, Therapeutics and Toxicology of the Faculty of Medicine of the UAB, under the direction of Caridad Pontes, Alda Cardesín Revilla and Manuel Bernal Sprekelsen.
