The change of the 463 windows in the Albada and VII Centenari buildings of the Parc Taulí ended on January 31 and was done with the aim of obtaining a thermal improvement, avoiding air leaks and reducing the thermal and acoustic transmission of the glasses This action will guarantee energy savings of 492.308 kWh/year. The rehabilitation of these elements will also improve comfort, assistance and service functionality.
Also, the new windows incorporate motorized blinds and a new opening system with three different positions: folding; folding/swinging and fully blocked that improve their use by the user, care professionals and cleaning staff. In addition, the new system improves the closing of the windows by 75% compared to the previous ones.
During the execution of the works, which began in February 2022, the operators and technicians worked in coordination with the health professionals of the Albada and VII Centenary buildings who guaranteed care at all times.
