The streets of Sabadell were filled yesterday, Sunday, May 21, with runners participating in a new edition of the 'Sabadell Corre pels Nens i Nenes' solidarity race. The profits of the race, in its sixth edition, will go towards the humanization of the Children's and Youth Mental Health spaces at Parc Taulí, a reference service that every year discharges 200 children hospitalized in the psychiatric field and attends to 1.800 first visits and another 30.000 follow-up visits.
The departure and arrival took place at Parc Taulí in a morning full of activities for young and old that brought together families and friends to enjoy a great solidarity party, with activities aimed at all audiences. A pink tide - like this edition's shirt - filled the streets of the city center for a good cause.
From Parc Taulí we want to send our most sincere thanks and congratulations, once again, to each and every one of the participants, organizers, volunteers and entities that have made possible the great success of the 6th edition of "Sabadell Corre pels Nens i Nenes" ". As stated by the general director, Anna Aran, in the words of thanks she addressed to the attendees, "acts like these connect us with the values of solidarity, altruism and healthy habits such as physical exercise".
