Parc Taulí mourns the death of nurse Dolors Llorens Basses

Parc Taulí mourns the death of Dolors Llorens Basses, a nurse recognized with the Josep Trueta medal for health merit.

Dolors Llorens worked as a supervising nurse, head of area and Director of Nursing at Parc Taulí from 1982 to 1993. Then, she was Director of Nursing at Hospital de Sant Pau from 1993 to 2005 and Director of Nursing of the Althaia Assistance Network in Manresa, from 2005 to 2015.

Dolors Llorens was a nurse and postgraduate in anesthesia and resuscitation from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). Postgraduate degree in Care Quality by the Avedis Donavediam Foundation, Master's degree in Management and Administration of Health Institutions by the UAB, Postgraduate degree in clinical management by Pompeu i Fabra University and in Management by ESADE processes.
