Parc Taulí will organize the XIII Congress of the Catalan-Balearic Palliative Care Society (SCBCP)

The Catalan-Balearic Palliative Care Society (SCBCP) has entrusted the Palliative Care Unit of Parc Taulí with the organization of the Society's XIII Congress. Sabadell takes over from Igualada, where the last congress was held.

Last February 22, the first meeting of the organizing committee and the scientific committee was held to give the start to the organization.

The organizing committee is made up of Montserrat López Postigo (CCSPT); Teresa Ribot Berenguer (CCSPT); Ana Sánchez Padilla (Primary Care Sabadell); Vicente Serna Berna (CCSPT); Marta Miralpeix Monclús (CCSPT); Xavier Costa Nebot (Pades Cornellà); Rosa Garcia Domínguez (CCSPT); Isidre Grimau Malet (CCSPT); Pedro Cano Desandes (CCSPT); Carme Quiñoa Salanova (CCSPT); Auxi Gil Rey (CCSPT).

El Parc Taulí has ​​had palliative care since 1990. This is a comprehensive service that is provided during the patient's hospitalization as external consultations and home care for adults and children.
