The Pathological Anatomy Service in 2017 obtained the certification of its Quality Management System in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 standard for the following activities: "Anatomopathological and molecular diagnostics of biopsies, cytology, autopsies and biomarkers. Care, organizational, teaching and research side" and maintained this certification until last year, when UNE-EN ISO 15189:2023 accreditation was achieved.
"The updating and maintenance of the UNE-EN ISO 15189:2023 accreditation is recognition of the quality of the diagnoses we offer", assured the director of the Pathological Anatomy Service, Joan Carles Ferreres.
Parc Taulí is the reference center for the detection of HPV in Sabadell, Cerdanyola-Ripollet and the outpatient clinics and hospitals of Terrassa and also carries out the study of cytology from the outpatient clinics of Sabadell, Cerdanyola and Ripollet.
