This morning the 5th grade students of Escola Samuntada visited the Neonatology Unit of Parc Taulí, as part of the Magnet program of scientific collaboration between the hospital and the school.
The coordinator of the Unit, Mònica Domingo, and the nursing coordinator of the Unit, Anna Santiveri, accompanied them on this visit.
During their tour, the students were able to see how work is done and the different areas of the Unit. In particular, they have analyzed in depth the family room, where they have noted the improvements that they consider could be made, and which they will then hand over to the coordinator of the Neonatology Unit.
'Like home' is a project of Parc Taulí in collaboration with the families of the babies admitted to the Neonatal Unit and Neonatal ICU, and civil society to improve the family room to offer a multifunctional, warm, comfortable space that offers the necessary comforts improve your stay.
Parc Taulí is a highly complex hospital where every year there are around 2.000 births, of which 250 babies require admission to the Neonatal Unit.
