El Parc Taulí has resumed the face-to-face and virtual workshops of the program "Get pretty, you'll feel better" from the Stanpa Foundation. These are sessions aimed at oncology patients whose aim is to present skin self-care techniques and how to apply make-up while ensuring the health recommendations.
The face-to-face workshop was held this morning in the La Capella room of Parc Taulí, where two Stanpa professionals explained to about seven patients from the Day Hospital and the Oncology consultations what steps they must follow to take care of and make up your skin during the oncological process.
The products used in the workshops are donated by more than 30 cosmetic companies, patrons and collaborators of the Foundation. With all the products, the Stanpa Foundation creates a nsurplus of cleaning, treatment and make-up cosmetics which are delivered free of charge to each participant.
The Stanpa Foundation coordinates a network of more than 125 beauty professional volunteers and has the collaboration of doctors, oncologists, nursing and psychology teams and the coordinator of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (Catalonia Against Cancer) .
All patients who wish to attend the workshops must contact the nursing team at the Hospital de Dia del Parc Taulí and they will indicate the dates and where to go.
