Parc Taulí will be part of the 8 Catalan hospitals that will benefit this 2025 from the Solidarity Roundup offered by the Condis and WorldCoo supermarkets.
The medical director of the pediatrics unit at Parc Taulí, Dr. Anna Pérez, presented, at the event at the Montserrat Abbey and hosted by journalist Josep Corbella, the Smiles Companion Program, which aims to promote activities and projects to improve the experience of patients during their hospital stay. Within this program, there are three active projects: complementary therapeutic activities; recreational and educational activities and improving infrastructure and equipment.
Customers of Condis supermarkets will have the opportunity to round up the amount of their purchase receipt to donate the remaining cents to this program and others for scientific research, health prevention and support for patients at these hospital centers.
Solidarity Rounding has been available in Condis supermarkets since 2018. This option to round off the receipt is automatically offered on the dataphone to all supermarket customers who pay for their purchase by card.
Since its launch, more than 2 million small donations have been made, which has allowed more than €600.000 to be raised for 34 different projects.
To learn about and collaborate with all the projects being developed at Parc Taulí, you can consult the space 'Collaborate' from the Parc Taulí website and make a direct donation.
