
Dr. Yolanda Escamilla Carpintero, new director of the Otorhinolaryngology service

Last January, Dr. Yolanda Escamilla took over from Dr. Rosa Rosell at the head of the Otorhinolaryngology service, due to her retirement.
Dr. Escamilla began working at Parc Taulí in 2003 and since 2018 has been Head of the Otolaryngology Oncology Section.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1991). He specialized in Otorhinolaryngology and Cervico-Facial Pathology at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid and in 2018 he obtained a doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the UAB.
She has also been an associate professor at the UAB since 2009. She is a member of the Taulí of Directors of the Catalan Society of Otorhinolaryngology and a member of the Head and Neck Commission of the Catalan Society of ENT.
In the field of research, it participates in research projects, both single-center and multi-center, as well as in the publication of national and international communications.
