Parc Taulí has opened its doors to more than 250 people interested in doing their Specialized Health Training (MIR, FIR, PIR and IIR) at the institution.
The Teaching Committee of Parc Taulí has organized this session which has been preceded by the virtual door days held between March 17 and 27.
Today's open house session began with the welcome of the head of studies at Parc Taulí, Dr. Pepi Rivera, to the future residents and she explained in detail the training, research and innovation offerings offered by the institution.
Likewise, the general director of Parc Taulí, Dr. Gemma Craywinckel, highlighted that Parc Taulí “It is a very good center to establish the foundations as a professional thanks to its teaching environment and its healthcare team” and he stressed the importance of enjoying the residence.
Then, the institution's healthcare director, Dr. Maria del Carmen Sanclemente, pointed out that Parc Taulí “It is a center that allows you to leave very well prepared to address any healthcare issue”.
The session continued with a conversation between Dr. Enrique Casado (rheumatology) and Dr. Ana Navas (intensive care medicine), resident tutors, and Irene Sierra (R2 IIR – Mental Health), Maria García (MIR R4 – Internal Medicine), Carlos Molero (R3 MIR – General Surgery) and Luis Herández (R1 FIR – Hospital Pharmacy) about what it is like to be a resident at Parc Taulí. Finally, the future residents visited the different services and units of the hospital.
The aim of the conference is to make known the characteristics offered by Parc Taulí from a healthcare, teaching and research point of view. These conferences bring our facilities and the residents of the Corporation closer to all those who wish to do a residency at our institution.
Parc Taulí has 82 places for training in 36 accredited specialties. You can find more information here.
