The students of the Degree in Medicine at the Parc Taulí Teaching Unit (UAB) continue to consolidate the good results obtained in the MIR exam. This year, of the 45 graduates, 38 have obtained a residency position and 5 students have been among the first 1.000 students who will be able to choose a specialty.
These results are in line with the latest promotions, consolidating the Teaching Unit of the Autonomous University of Barcelona at Parc Taulí, as a unit of excellence and quality due to the proximity of teaching staff and students; as well as the great participation of the Parc Taulí Healthcare Corporation Consortium in the training of students.
In the year 2008/2009, theoretical and practical teaching began at Parc Taulí for students from the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
There are currently 251 students divided into four courses of the Bachelor of Medicine (third, fourth, fifth and sixth) and 574 have graduated to date.
This year was the first academic year that the Parc Taulí Teaching Unit has welcomed students from the Nursing Degree.
