On April 10, the Parc Taulí Auditorium hosted the II Multidisciplinary Conference: Update on Immune-Mediated Diseases of the Vallès, which brought together nearly 100 healthcare professionals and stood out for its high scientific level, practical approach and clear commitment to shared training between specialties.
During the day, current issues in the field of systemic autoimmune diseases were addressed with a transversal perspective, thanks to the active participation of specialists in internal medicine, dermatology, nephrology, pulmonology, rheumatology, neurology and gastroenterology. Key aspects such as early diagnosis, multidisciplinary approach and personalized treatments were discussed.
The meeting was coordinated by the Systemic Autoimmune Diseases Unit of the Internal Medicine Service of Parc Taulí, and was accredited by the Catalan Council for Continuing Education of the Health Professions.
The participants came mainly from hospitals in the Vallès area, with representation also from other healthcare centers in Barcelona, Tarragona and Girona. This reflects the growing interest in multidisciplinary training and territorial collaboration in addressing these complex pathologies.
With this successful participation, the conference is consolidated as a reference space for sharing knowledge and experiences, reinforcing the region's commitment to clinical excellence and the continuing training of healthcare professionals.
