Children and adolescents from the different areas of the Pediatrics Area of Parc Tauli celebrated Saint George's Day throughout the morning by participating in different activities promoted by the hospital.
On the one hand, the boys and girls from the Adolescent Crisis Unit (UCA) walked around the pediatric and gynecology hospitalization floor handing out dragon-shaped dolls that they had made.
On the other hand, from the Hospital Classroom they have prepared a stall with books and book points for professionals, young people and family members. This year, the stand has had the Monastery of Montserrat as a reference. In addition, they have held a workshop on making notes and have received a visit from the storyteller Antinea Ravarotto, who has read the stories “La mala pipa”, by the authors Jory John and Pete Oswald, and “Una Carta” by Irene Verdú and Verònica Aranda.
No child without a story
Once again, Parc Taulí has participated in the project No child without a story so that everyone can enjoy reading and incredible adventures. This year the story wants to recognize the work carried out by healthcare professionals. Pediatrician Iñaki Alegria has collaborated on the book.
