Today, the farewell was given to the twelve nursing residents who began their specialized healthcare training (EIR) at Parc Taulí in 2023.
The event began with a welcome from Dr. Pepi Rivera, head of studies at Parc Taulí, Dr. Noemí Obregón, director of nursing, and Dr. Ester Risco, president of the Corporation's Teaching Subcommittee, in which they expressed “the pride that Parc Taulí represents in having all the recognized specialties of healthcare training specialized in nursing”.
Afterwards, different residents presented their experiences at Parc Taulí, highlighting “the close care team that guarantees great curricular, professional and personal development”Likewise, the tutors have expressed their gratitude as companions throughout their training journey.
In addition, the residents were able to enjoy an inspiring conference given by Dr. Júlia González Vaca, professor at the Faculty of Nursing of the University of Barcelona and Vice-President of the Spanish Society of Geriatric and Gerontological Nursing. In her presentation, the specialist highlighted the importance of research to advance nursing work and the different paths they can take to continue their training.
Afterwards, the residents received flowers and a commemorative plaque as a gift for their residence in Parc Taulí.
The event ended with the words of Dr. Gemma Craywinckel, general director of Parc Taulí, who wished them luck and success.
