Yesterday, the farewell was given to the 49 residents from 26 specialties who began their training at Parc Taulí during the months of September 2020 and July 2021, exceptional dates marked by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The president of the Parc Taulí Healthcare Corporation Consortium (CCSPT), Ms. Dolors Costa, opened the farewell by highlighting that the passing of the residents “has contributed significantly to the care work of the services, bringing energy, a critical perspective and enthusiasm”.
The head of studies and director of Teaching, Dr. Pepi Rivera, highlighted the exceptional situation in which they found themselves at the beginning of their training marked by the pandemic and thanked them for their understanding in difficult times.
Likewise, the general director of Parc Taulí, Dr. Gemma Craywinckel, highlighted the importance of feeling accompanied during the residency and wished them "Good luck and success on the path you are now embarking on as professionals with the experience that we have provided you with from Parc Taulí."
Finally, individual gifts were presented in recognition of the residents' time at the institution, together with Ms. Sandra Tobias, director of the People Area. At the end, an institutional toast was made.
