This morning, the president of Parc Taulí, Dolors Costa, accompanied by the Welfare representative, Esther Bonet, presented a check for €2.200 to the president of CIPO Joan Madaula, and to the manager of the entity, Jordi Garcia. This money was donated by the hospital professionals who participated in the Bcn Salut Games to carry out a solidarity action.
The money will go to the CIPO project 'Sobre rodes' to purchase a new adapted van, with nine seats, for the Occupational Center. With this new vehicle, they will be able to carry out leisure, community and employment activities outside the center, facilitating the autonomy and comprehensive development of the people served.
The BCN Salut Games is an amateur sports competition, with an Olympic games format, open to all entities in the health sector, with a charitable and healthy purpose, which promotes cohesion, coexistence and motivation, while facilitating relationships between participating centers.
This year, from March 17 to May 17, the 8th edition was held, with 51 health sector centres participating. The organising body offers 16 leisure and sporting activities. Among the activities most requested by our professionals are Bowling, L'Humor amarillo, paddle tennis, laser tag and the escape room.
The Parc Taulí Healthcare Corporation Consortium (CCSPT) has decided to donate the solidarity money collected to CIPO Sabadell, as it is a social and non-profit company that works to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual and/or mental disabilities and their families. Also due to its importance in the social fabric of Sabadell and its citizens, generating opportunities for each person's life project.
