The Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) has chosen its new management team. The Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine of the UAB, Albert Selva O'Callaghan, has been elected the new Dean of the Faculty.
This new management team includes two professionals from Parc Taulí, Dr. Raquel Corripio Collado, as Vice-Dean of Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Medicine of the UAB and director of the Pediatrics service; and Dr. Assumpta Caixàs Pedragós, coordinator of the Medicine Degree and specialist in the Endocrinology and Nutrition Service of Parc Taulí.
The current dean takes over from Dr. Salvador Navarro Soto, head of the Department of Surgery at Parc Taulí and who has been dean of the Faculty since 2022.
