Dr. Óscar Duems Noriega is a surgeon graduated from La Salle University of Mexico (2002) and a specialist in Geriatrics, completing his training at the Granollers Hospital (2010), where he has pursued his professional career.
Throughout his career, he has received multiple recognitions, both national and international, for his work in the field of care for chronic and highly complex patients.
With a broad and transformative perspective, Dr. Duems has been deeply involved in the hospital-centered approach, developing innovative community coordination strategies for the care of complexity. He is the creator and promoter of the Gericom program, a pioneering initiative that has become a benchmark in the creation of feasible, efficient and comprehensive alternatives to conventional hospitalization.
Dr. Óscar Duems joins Parc Taulí with the commitment to promote a new model of comprehensive care for complex chronic patients, which transcends the limits of the hospital and places the person at the center, guaranteeing continuity and quality in all phases of the healthcare process.
