Yesterday, Parc Taulí hosted the 3rd Conference of Senior Imaging Technicians for Diagnostics and Nuclear Medicine, a meeting place for students and professionals to continue learning and strengthen the links between professional training and the hospital.
The Conference began with the institutional welcome ceremony of the Health and Education Councilors of Sabadell City Council, Sílvia García and Manuel Robles, who were accompanied by the director of territorial services of Vallès Occidental, Montserrat Capdevila. The healthcare side was represented by the director of the Imaging Diagnostic service of Parc Taulí, Dr. Juan Carlos Martín, and the assistant to the director of the Nursing team, Carme Partera.
Dr. Martín emphasized that "This day is a day of collaboration between the Castellarnau Institute and the hospital, because there are speakers who were former students and are now professionals at Parc Taulí.”. In this sense, he assured that “This is a model of success and collaboration between professional training and healthcare companies.”. Finally, he encouraged attendees to take advantage of the day to “learn and grow together".
For her part, Carme Partera highlighted the day as “a great space for meeting and learning” and highlighted the importance of working together with the educational community to improve teaching and for responsible innovation.
The day was divided into six blocks where the importance of the imaging technician for Diagnostics and Nuclear Medicine having continuous and updated training with new technologies was highlighted, which must serve as support, in no case a substitute.
The event ended with the presentation of the awards for the 3rd Technical Conference.
