During the month of December, Parc Taulí hosted different activities that kicked off the days leading up to the Christmas holidays. The sweetest visit was that of the Sweetheart who stopped by to spend some time with the children admitted to the pediatric ward, as well as with the young people from the Adolescent Crisis Unit (UCA).
One of the most anticipated moments for the team of professionals on the third floor of Parc Taulí are the gifts that the young people of the UCA give them to thank them for their work.
The musical rhythm came from the Sabadell Symphony Orchestra who offered a small concert for children, young people and professionals. The Ressò Music Association also gave the traditional small concerts in different areas of the hospital such as the hospitalization floor, the Neonatology Unit or the Pediatric ICU, without forgetting the Pediatric Emergency Department and the Hospital Hall. The Medical students from the Teaching Unit of Parc Taulí also enlivened different units and services of the hospital with their Christmas carols.
But, the most awaited moment for young and not so young, from the UCA and the CSMIJ, was making Tió shit and seeing what gifts he had brought them.
As every year, these activities have been possible thanks to the commitment of the hospital's team of professionals and the volunteers who participate.
