The Consorci Corporació Sanitària Parc Taulí (CCSPT) received a visit today from the director of the National Mental Health Pact, Ms. Laia Arnal, in a meeting to learn about the digital platform “My Mental Health”.
The Mental Health team at Parc Taulí has had the opportunity to show the platform and the success it has had among the users who have used it during these months.
It is a digital tool that allows adults and adolescents over the age of 16 to make a quick, anonymous and confidential self-assessment of their state of emotional well-being. The tool has been designed by healthcare professionals from the Parc Taulí Mental Health Service based on clinical knowledge and scientific evidence.
In order to learn all the details of the digital solution, Ms. Arnal met with Dr. Gemma Craywinkel, general director of the CCSPT, and Dr. Diego Palao, director of the Mental Health Service of the CCSPT, and Enrique Arroyo, operational director of the e-Mental Health project.
The meeting served to clarify the importance of generating spaces that facilitate early access to medical services, avoiding the stigmatization of mental health problems and providing information that helps identify the first warning signs of a disorder.
“Mental health care is one of the most relevant social and health challenges today and My Mental Health It is a tool that puts the user at the center; it allows them to become aware of their emotional state and facilitates access to healthcare resources”, explained Dr. Palao.
Ms. Arnal has given a very positive assessment of the CCSPT technological initiative. In fact, the project is promoted and financed by the Catalan Health Service (CatSalut) and is part of the SISCAT Transformative Projects, aimed at promoting innovation and digital transformation of the health system in Catalonia.
