Parc Taulí, designated as a unit of clinical expertise (UEC) in minor neuromuscular diseases in Catalonia

A few days ago, the Catalan Health Service notified Parc Taulí and five other Catalan centers of its designation as units of clinical expertise (UEC) in minority neuromuscular diseases in Catalonia. Specifically, these are the following centers: Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, Santa Creu and Sant Pau Hospital, Bellvitge University Hospital, Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital with Institut Guttmann and Parc Taulí Hospital in Sabadell. read more

The Catalan Association Prader-Willi Syndrome donates € 7.500 to Parc Taulí for a study on the effect of growth hormone on adults with this syndrome.

Representatives of the Association presented the check last Friday, March 8, to the main researchers, Dr. Assumpta Caixàs and Dr. Olga Giménez. The event was also attended by the expert nurse in Prader-Willi, Rocío Pareja, and the director of Research and Innovation, Lluís Blanch.  read more
